Who we are
Frontstep Websites builds and hosts websites for local businesses. A Florida limited liability company filing for the business is pending approval. Contact: sam@frontstepwebsites.com.
What we collect
- Contact details you send us by email, such as your name, business name, email address, city and the kind of work you do.
- Website content you supply for your site, such as text, photos, logos and other images, opening hours and service details.
- Domain information needed to register, connect or renew a domain you choose.
- Billing information such as your name, email and billing details, which Stripe collects and processes when you subscribe. We do not store your full card number.
- Technical data such as IP address, request logs and security signals, which our hosting and security providers process to deliver and protect the site.
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set technical cookies for security and delivery, as described in its own policies.
Vendors that process your information
- Cloudflare hosts the sites, provides DNS, routes inbound email, and forwards outbound email. It processes request logs and the data needed to deliver the service.
- Stripe processes payments, subscriptions, the Customer Portal and invoices. It processes billing details and payment methods.
- Google receives forwarded email in the inbox used by Frontstep to read requests.
- Authorized AI model providers help us build sites and process requests. We do not send them customer content except for the purpose of a requested change, and we will name each provider here before it processes customer content.
AI use
AI tools help build sites, process requests and edit images you send us for your website. A person may review exceptions, such as unclear requests, domain or billing questions, and anything that could affect another party. You can ask us for a human review at any time.
How we use information
We use information to answer your requests, build and host your preview or site, make the changes you ask for, bill you, handle domains, prevent abuse, and meet our legal and accounting duties.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Records of payments and referral rewards are kept for those purposes. We do not promise that data is never stored.
Cancellation and deletion
When you cancel, we provide an export of your published website files on request and help you transfer your domain, as described in our Terms. We do not promise universal deletion on cancellation, because some records must be kept for legal, tax, fraud and dispute purposes. Write to us, and we will tell you what we can delete and what we must keep.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for a correction, object to processing where the law allows it, or ask us to delete information we are not required to keep. Email sam@frontstepwebsites.com.
Security
We use managed providers and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission.
Children
This site and service are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We will update this page when our processing or vendors change, and we will show the new date at the top.
Language
This policy is provided in English only.
